Colors and Dyes
Castolite's ability to make custom Opaque Colorants are a versatile service and product to our clientele.
With the use of our INSTINT technology, we can produce thousands of colorants at your service.
Our system runs on the RAL color standard (ie RAL5015, RAL3005, etc). Just about any color from this standard
can be made for you to add to your resin. If you require a custom color that is not on the RAL color charts
please let us know and we can most likely match it for you at no extra charge.
Below is a listing of some of our basic colorants along with a close representation of the color.
We have also included some of our more popular RAL colors that we make.
The price for 2oz is shown in the chart.

Castolite Transparent Dyes
Castolite transparent dyes add an intense colorant that you can add to most clear resins such as our EP4101 Clear Polyester.
A little bit goes a long way with our dyes. The higher percentage that you add the more intense the color will be.
We recommend adding 0.5% - 3% to our resin. However other percentages can be achieved. Please conduct a test according to your project.
We offer them in many sizes ranging from 1oz dropper bottles up to drums.

Castolite Pearlescents, Metallics and Flakes
Our Pearlescent powder mixed with Casolite EP4101 Clear Resin will
produce a radiantly beautiful pearl effect. Use alone (white pearl) or in
combination with one of our EP7701 transparent dyes to obtain a colored pearl finish.
